Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Performance Department for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to become involved with the delivery of Referral to Treatment and Trust Access Policy training Trust wide.
The successful applicant will have an excellent knowledge of Referral to Treatment targets and patient pathways, be fully conversant with all Trust PAS systems including ERS and processes and have experience of delivering training in both formal and informal settings.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and team-working skills and it is essential to be flexible as in this challenging role priorities can change at very short notice.
Main duties of the job
- Support the Senior Performance Manager with the development of training courses on Referral to Treatment (RTT), the Trust Access
- Policy and other Trust systems as required.
- Deliver the provision of training courses within an agreed timescale
- Evaluate ways of providing training to meet national and local targets and at the same time taking into account the needs of the service and data quality
- To provide ongoing support to end users
- To develop, prepare and promote additional learning resources
- Evaluate the training and development needs of end users
- Feedback to relevant manager/s and/or Performance team regarding the knowledge and understanding of those trained and where appropriate identify the need for further training

- Educated to A Level/NVQ 4 or equivalent
- Evidence of on going personal development
Desirable criteria
- Relevant training qualification or demonstrable equivalent experience
Knowledge, Training & Experience
Essential criteria
- Awareness of key national performance targets
- Excellent IT skills
- Knowledge of National RTT and ERS programmes
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in an NHS environment
- Good understanding of the Group Access Policy
- Excellent working knowledge of the Group PAS system and ERS
- High level awareness of Data Quality and its importance in delivering high quality information
Desirable criteria
- Good understanding of medical terminology
- Knowledge of clinical pathways
- Experience of delivering training in an NHS environment
