Job overview
An exciting Opportunity has arisen for dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join Mill View Court as a Senior Administrator.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with previous clerical experience who can communicate at all levels, work flexibility and is able to organise and prioritise their workload.
Good communication skills are essential and we are looking for an individual with a passion to work in a team delivering key interventions to working aged adults.
Main duties of the job
• Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office and services.
• Schedules meetings and carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, and scanning etc.
• To provide administrative support to all clinical teams and support services within administrative procedures.
• Contribute to planning & development of the Adult Mental Health Service as a member of the wider team.
• To work autonomously and develop administration support systems.
• To be responsible for all aspects of administration of team meetings, minute taking, actions.
• To be responsible for all incoming emails within the generic email accounts for referrals and administration.
• To have oversight over petty cash maintenance and cash float for the unit.

Essential criteria
- Able to demonstrate inter-personal communication skills
- Able to plan and priorities effectively
- Ability to commute between the various sites.
- Light physcial effort requiried for lifting stationery, files, sitting at a keyboard or possibly standing at a reception desk
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Advanced keyboard skills: RSA/OCR III or equivalent/Advanced ECDL
- 3 or more GCSE/O levels which must include English and Maths
- A’ Level/BTEC Diploma/NVQ3 Business Administration/Customer Service or equivalent experiential learning
Experience
Essential criteria
- Demonstrable experience of practice and procedures relevant to the area of work
- Experience of IT systems, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience of preparing agendas and papers and writing minutes.
Applicant requirements
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
