Are you passionate about improving mental health services for children and young people? Do you believe that children, young people and their families in Hull and East Riding deserve high quality interventions to match their needs? We require an RMN, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or Clinical Psychologist with the drive to join an experienced, highly motivated team of clinicians to deliver a responsive and effective, predominantly family-based service to young people with an eating disorder.
Main duties of the job
You will work collaboratively with other operational and clinical leads whilst directly line managing clinical staff and leading/managing a team whilst supporting with service developments.
You will share responsibility of managing capacity, demand, and service delivery of both the core Eating Disorder Team and the Eating Disorder Intensive Treatment Team (EDITT). You will provide managerial supervision to identify, and support training needs of staff, job planning and caseload management. You will work collaboratively with other agencies across Hull and East Riding to identify and develop the service to meet the needs of those with an eating disorder, ensuring individual needs are met.
You will be a compassionate leader, supporting staff whilst being solution focused. This is an operational role but there will be an expectation of support to the clinical team and an understanding of child and adolescent health services and eating disorders would be beneficial
