About the role

2 x 30 hour a week posts available

You will delivering high quality health and social care support to clients in their own homes, to support them to stay at home or to be discharged from hospital. 

  • Service runs from 8am - 10pm, 7 days a week
  • Various Shift Patterns Available (see below for further details)

 

Main duties of the job

An opportunity has arisen to join the Bee at home team which is an established team of health and social care assistants that deliver care and support in clients own homes.  The service delivers re-enablement, end of life care and domiciliary care across Hull and East Riding.  

A suitable means of transport will be required due to the wide areas covered. The working patterns will be a mixture of 8am- 2pm and 4pm-10pm shifts.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent level of experience in Health and/or Social Care
  • Care Certificate or willingness to complete this within a 6 month induction period

Knowledge & Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of working in a health and/ or care environment
  • Experience of prioritising own work load
  • Good understanding of basic IT skills
