Job overview
- Coordinate and prepare prescriptions, ensuring requests are recorded and processed on time
- Support patients, carers and visitors by handling queries in person and by phone
- Liaise with Community Pharmacies and other healthcare colleagues to resolve medication queries and improve referrals
- Record information accurately, make appointments and manage clinical tasks in line with practice procedures
- Provide administration support for medication‑related projects and help train colleagues on new processes
Main duties of the job
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, plus Level 2 knowledge in administration or customer service
- Confident communication skills with the ability to listen, reassure and problem‑solve
- Good IT skills and the ability to work with accuracy under pressure
- Experience working with others and using your own initiative; customer‑facing experience is valued
- An organised, adaptable team member who can prioritise and follow procedures

- Level 2 in Business Administration / Customer Service or equivalent knowledge and experience
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
