Job overview

A Bank Assistant Radiography Practitioner ( ARP )position has arisen  in the Radiology Departments based at Hull Royal Infirmary with rotation to Castle Hill Hospital and other trust sites  

Applications are invited for enthusiastic and motivated ,   3rd  year /final year  Student radiographers   to join the General  Radiology departments. 

You will be working as  support to a   friendly team of dedicated and hardworking Radiographers   within the Radiology departments at  Hull University Teaching Hospitals  NHS Trust .  This role will involve the opportunity to  contribute to shift patterns covering the 7 day service (including bank holidays) . 

Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role. 

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a friendly team members  who are able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and customer care skills along with the ability to work under pressure, priorities workload and work using own initiative. This role includes patient care, communication and  IT . 

The role will include working under   supervision with Radiographers   in our main x-ray sites  to include ED , theatres and general departments .

To work as part of the Radiology team, providing
high standards of patient care and an efficient service in the area required by the department.
 To undertake specified radiographic examinations, under the supervision of a qualified practitioner.
 To undertake Clinical Imaging Support duties appropriate to their area of work.
