An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust’s Forensic Services. The successful applicant will be appointed to support the Humber Centre and Pineview wards as a Ward Clerk.
The post holder will work as an essential member of the admin team and support in delivering an effective, efficient, responsive and high-quality service.
Providing administrative support to clinical teams and support services within standard administrative procedures.
You will contribute to the planning and development of the service/department as a member of the Forensics Admin team.
Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd
Provide secretarial support to non-medical staff in the day to day running of the ward
• Answering phone calls and taking messages
• Maintaining the storage of files/folders on servers and EPR
• Process and store records, transcribe and type up formal minutes
• Responsible for ward petty cash and support to patient Banking
• Checking/ordering of ward supplies, stationery, and goods
• General office duties

- Word processing and inputting for substantial proportion of work time
- Concentrating for transcribing, typing,complicated documents
Experience

- Knowledge of secretarial or administrative processes and systems, some of which are non routine and non routine activities such as answering queries, progress chasing, and task related problem solving which can be acquired through experience and training to vocation level 3 or equivalent.
- Experience of using Word, Excel, Outlook.

- Experience of working within a secure setting
- Experience of utilising electronic clinical record keeping systems
Qualifications and Knowledge

- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience

- Knowledge within administrative services within the NHS.
