We are currently seeking a creative therapist ( Play, Drama and Music ) to work with looked after children (CLA) in the Hull CAMHS CLA team.
Our service provides therapeutic interventions to children and young people looked after, specialising in supporting individuals who have attachment difficulties and/or have experienced developmental trauma.
As such, you will join a committed CLA Service within the Hull CAMHS team. This post will provide opportunities for professional development and personal growth. Successful applicants will also have access to regular support from experienced Clinicians and supervision from Creative Therapists working within, and allied with, our service.
We would consider a Band 6 to Band 7 development
Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd
• To provide advanced assessments and therapeutic interventions where required, within scope of your professional registration.
• To provide comprehensive written reports to multidisciplinary team following assessment, consultation and/or therapeutic intervention.
• To contribute to complex decision making around, for example, therapeutic interventions for children, young people and/or their carers.
• To work autonomously and collaboratively within the MDT, providing consultation, support to other agencies/professionals such as local authority social workers.
• To facilitate reflective practice sessions including formulation and contribute to systemic thinking within complex networks supporting children or young people who are looked after or are care leavers.
• To contribute to service evaluation/audit and development work.

Qualifications and Knowledge

- Current HPC registration and British Association of Art Therapists registered
- Advanced/expert understanding of relevant clinical practice, standards and protocols within identified clinical area.
- Full understanding of relevant policy, legislation, drivers and their application to clinical and service area
