Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join the Learning Disability Service as a Senior Administrator.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with previous clerical experience who can communicate at all levels, work flexibility and is able to organise and prioritise their workload. Senior Administrative Assistant to join our admin team within the Children's & Learning Disability Division. We are looking to recruit a friendly, enthusiastic, motivated person to join our administration team.
You will provide administrative support to clinical services within the Division and contribute to the planning and development of the service as a member of the team.
This role is varied and you will need to have the ability to work as part of a team and use your initiative in day to day tasks along with having good communication skills to deal with varying enquiries.
Main duties of the job
Job Role
To provide administrative support and advice to the Epilepsy Service wider LD Service
Contribute to planning & development to the Learning Disability Service as a member of the wider team.
Contribute to the improvement of effective use of Trust electronic resources to ensure safe and effective processes are embedded and maintained
To induct & supervise less experienced staff.
To work autonomously and develop effective administration support systems, in line with Trust Policies and systems.
To be responsible for all aspects of administration of team meetings, minute taking, actions.
To be responsible for all incoming emails and correspondence within the generic email accounts for referrals and administration for the learning disability team

Qualifications and Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Knowledge of a range of work procedures and practices
- 3 or more GCSE/O levels which must include English and Maths
- Advanced keyboard skills: RSA/OCR III or equivalent/Advanced ECDL
Desirable criteria
- Advanced EDCL
Experience
Essential criteria
- Demonstrable experience of practice and procedures relevant to the area of work
- Knowledge and experience of IT systems e.g. Sytem1, ESR, oracle, Microsoft Office packages
Desirable criteria
- Experience of using Trust IT Systems - e.g. Lorenzo, ESR, Oracle.
- Experience of use of Microsoft Teams.
