Job overview
The Prevention and Early Intervention Manager will be in a senior operational role to support the General Manager and Clinical Lead in designing children’s services which prioritises the efficient delivery of accessible and collaboratively designed services. The post holder will focus on enhancing the pathways between the current Children's services with a focus on reducing health inequalities and prevention and early intervention. Ideally the post holder will be able to work across Children's service boundaries both inside Humber TFT and with its partner agencies to ensure services collaborate and respond to the needs of children, young people and families.
The role involves developing services which support a CYP health and wellbeing operating between the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme, Mental Health in School Teams and CAMHS. There will be a focus on providing leadership to the current Service Managers and undertaking duties to delegate for the General Manager.
The post holder must be able work across professional and organisational boundaries and be able to demonstrate a track record in the creation of new models of care which support families and other professionals to support prevention and early intervention children's services. Training development and leadership of the Children's workforce will be essential as is collaborative practice and co production and partnership working with children, young people and families.
Main duties of the job
The post requires someone with the knowledge, enthusiasm, and vision to drive forward the transformation agenda for Children's services across Hull and East Riding. The role will suit an individual with senior operational management skills, pathway transformation and skilled in change management. Strong interpersonal, strategic, and technical skills in operational delivery, service planning, change implementation and performance improvement combined with a supportive and visible leadership style are essential.
The post holder will deputise for the General Manager in identified forums and work closely with other senior Divisional staff such as the Children' s Clinical Lead.

Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Full understanding of relevant policy, legislation, drivers and their application to clinical and service area: mental health Act, mental capacity Act.
- Full understanding/application of relevant clinical practice/standards/audit within identified clinical area
- Evidence of leadership, organisational and service development issues mobilisation of new services that have had a positive impact on delivery
- Experience of successful clinical policy implementation and change Evidence of professional development work that has impacted on practice and demonstrates a higher level of communication/planning/change, that impacts beyond own area of work
Desirable criteria
- Member of organisational group/network, locally/regionally/nationally
Experience
Essential criteria
- Registered Professional with current registration
- Degree, supplemented by specialist training to masters or equivalent demonstrable experience of clinical expertise, Management qualification or equivalent experience.
- Plus significant advanced knowledge/ experience of managing children's services
- Be on the live register of mentors if required for the service area
