This entry level position offers an excellent opportunity for a creative, enthusiastic, innovative and talented individual who is willing to learn and is interested in developing their career in digital, marketing and administration in prevention, recovery and wellbeing education sector.
As a Trust, we see the value in supporting the development and progression of our people through apprenticeship pathways, combining vocational learning with on the job experience. The duration of this apprenticeship will be 12-18 months and on successful completion you will progress into Band 3 Recovery College Digital, Marketing and Admin Officer.
The role provides an opportunity to learn about all aspects of the Recovery & Wellbeing College and the wider Prevention, Recovery and Wellbeing Services. You will work towards the completion of the selected apprenticeship standard whilst working closely with the team to gain the required skills, knowledge and behaviours for the role.
The role involves providing support and assistance to the team, using skills to improve the Recovery & Wellbeing College offer. This role is for someone who can hit the ground running, take initiative and respond quickly, working to tight deadlines. You will need to be highly organised with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks and your own workload.
The ability to commute within the Trusts geographical area with access to the appropriate means of transport is essential.
Main duties of the job
- Support all aspects of marketing and communications work including social media, web content, newsletters, media relations and developing videos/Podcasts.
- Source quotes from Recovery College students.
- Create engaging and compelling written and digital content for a variety of audiences and channels.
- Create and schedule posts for The Recovery College social media accounts, responding where appropriate and notifying the team of any issues
- Scheduling and attending photo and video shoots
- Marketing new courses and course prospectus
- Provide administration and support services to the Recovery College team, including providing course documentation
- Act as the first point of contact for all enquiries (online, electronic and telephone) into the Recovery College and deal with them in a timely and effective manner, escalating issues as necessary.
- Providing Recovery College student support
- Setting up locations for face-to-face courses
- Providing metrics from online Recovery College Platform for monthly reports
