Job overview

Are you an organised and proactive workforce, HR, or project professional looking for your next challenge?

We are seeking a Workforce Projects and Job Evaluation Officer to join our HR Operations team on a 12-month fixed-term basis to support the delivery of a significant Trust-wide workforce review and job evaluation programme. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a high-profile project, working alongside clinical leaders, managers, staff-side colleagues, and workforce professionals to deliver fair, transparent, and evidence-based workforce solutions across Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in workforce transformation, project delivery, Agenda for Change processes, and organisational development, while helping to shape the future workforce of the Trust.

Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HTFT would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.

Main duties of the job

As Workforce Projects and Job Evaluation Officer, you will lead the coordination and day-to-day delivery of the Trust's Band 5 Nurse Job Description Review Programme and associated workforce projects.

You will:

  • Coordinate project plans, milestones, actions, risks and reporting.
  • Provide advice and guidance to managers on job descriptions, workforce review processes and job evaluation requirements.
  • Support consistency across services and divisions through effective governance and quality assurance arrangements.
  • Produce reports, briefings and assurance information for senior leaders and governance groups.
  • Work closely with clinical leaders, Nursing and Quality teams, staff side colleagues and Job Evaluation panels to support successful programme delivery.
  • Identify, monitor and escalate programme risks, issues and dependencies.
