Good communication skills are essential and we are looking for an individual with a passion to work in a team delivering key interventions to working aged adults.
Main duties of the job
The Patient Shop Supervisor is an important member of the forensic inpatient team, supporting the delivery of an efficient and effective shop service for patients, visitors, and staff within a secure hospital setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as the post holder will interact directly with service users, staff, and volunteers. The supervisor must maintain strict confidentiality at all times and demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of individuals with mental health conditions and learning disabilities.
Working closely with the Finance Officer, the Patient Shop Supervisor supports the forensic division in enabling patients to access and securely manage their personal funds and property while residing at the Humber Centre and Pine View. This includes responsibility for petty cash processes within the division.
The post holder will work within clearly defined responsibilities in line with Trust policies and procedures. They will also provide cover and support for the Finance Officer during periods of leave or increased service demand to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the service.
