Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as an Administration Assistant to work within the fast pace Crisis Response Service (CRS) offering a community response to those experiencing a mental health crisis. This is a busy, varied position supporting clinical staff within an admin capacity.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for experienced candidates with an excellent level of administration, interpersonal and organisational skills. You will also need to be computer literate with experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. You will be given full training on the various systems that we use.
You must be able to build effective working relationships, be approachable and accessible with a flexible approach to work. This is an excellent career development opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who wishes to pursue an administrative career in the NHS.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
You will provide general office administration to the multi-disciplinary team. You will also be required to handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls to consultants, doctors and clinical staff in a polite and efficient manner. Receive and deal with telephone enquiries, responding appropriately to callers including high risk, abusive, threatening, depressed, suicidal and vulnerable clients and carers. Due to the nature of the services we carry out administrative support for, these can sometimes be distressing.
