 We are currently have an exciting new opportunity at Basildon Hospital to work in our newly refurbished Restaurant as a Catering Assistant.

Main duties of the job

If successful you will work in our busy but friendly catering department.

Your duties will include:

Basic food preparation, including packing, labelling, displaying and chilling of sandwiches and other food products.

Serving meals within the agreed standards for portion control and presentation.

Improve our patients, visitors and staff experience through good food and friendly attitude
