Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute hospital provider in the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System (ICS), which is a system of health and care partners working together for our local population.

Job overview
Here is an exciting opportunity for you to join us on a part time as a Departmental PA . You will provide a comprehensive, effective and efficient Personal Assistant service to support the work of the Basildon senior imaging team to enable them to carry out their operational and managerial duties, ensuring effective organization of their time.
You will undertake a wide range of tasks including inbox and diary management, complete and distribute invitations, agenda’s and meeting minutes on behalf of the leadership team. Compiling governance reports on behalf of the divisional leadership team ensuring that all outstanding SI’s, actions & complaints are being addressed by the appropriate person.
You will support the wider division with administration of projects and administrative tasks as agreed with the divisional leadership team. The post holder will support administration of various IT applications such as Healthroster, Locums Nest and Trac as an example.
You will be expected to exercise initiative, prioritising conflicting work demands, and effectively communicate verbally and in writing, with a wide range of internal and external colleagues, exercising tact and diplomacy. The postholder will ensure confidential and sensitive information is kept secure, and that all work will be carried out in accordance with the Trust’s policies and procedures. The PA will be the key point of contact for the radiology leadership team and keep accurate diaries / schedules.
Main duties of the job
As a PA, you will be required to attend and notes take of meeting of a sensitive nature, and the postholder will be required to act with discretion.
· Provide a full Personal Assistant service to the Deputy General Manager and Clinial Lead Radiologists to ensure that the right focus is placed on priorities, planning and organising complex activities.
