Join our dedicated neonatal team as a Data Clerk, where your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will play a crucial role in supporting exceptional patient care.

As a Data Clerk within the neonatal unit, you will be responsible for the accurate, timely, and secure management of patient data, ensuring compliance with data protection standards and hospital policies. Your work will directly contribute to the quality of care provided to some of our most vulnerable patients.

Main duties of the job

As a Data Clerk within the neonatal unit, you will play a key part in maintaining the integrity of patient records and supporting clinical teams. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Inputting and maintaining patient records using hospital systems, ensuring completeness and accuracy of neonatal data for audits, reporting, and clinical use.
  • Liaising with clinical staff to verify and update patient information promptly.
  • Assisting in the preparation of reports and data summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Upholding strict confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations at all times.
  • Providing administrative support to the neonatal team as required.
