Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute hospital provider in the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System (ICS), which is a system of health and care partners working together for our local population.
Within Mid and South Essex there are 149 GP practices, operating from over 200 sites, forming 27 Primary Care Networks and one Ambulance Trust. There are also three main community and mental health service providers who work together through a community collaborative.

Job overview
You will be responsible for developing and delivering Outpatient Training to the Outpatients Referral and Communication Team (ORC), to ensure that data is entered onto EPR (Electronic Patient Record) by users in accordance with NHS Data Standards, data definitions, DoH RTT (18 weeks) guidance and local policies.
In this important role the individual will help configure, test and train as well as act as a centre of knowledge and excellence regarding the ORC functions.
You will support the Governance process and manage PALS concerns, enquiries, complaints and incidents, and ensure the learning from the outcomes is translated into the training program.
You'll manage the HR processes for the teams, working alongside the Team Leaders in maintaining records.

Main duties of the job
- Deliver end to end training in relation to the Trust telephony system and any other systems which are used to communicate with patients for the purpose of Outpatient appointments.
- Provide assistance and advice with outpatient pathway processes throughout the Trust. The post holder will also work to develop online and face to face training and education modules tailored to both clinical and administrative staff
