Main duties of the job

To undertake the receipt, storage and distribution of medicinal products.

To participate in the ward topping up service.

To undertake related computer tasks, and inputting of medicines in to the automated dispensing system.

Desirable criteria
  • Experience in a role that required following strict guidelines and procedures

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • A good standard of basic education including Maths and English
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council under the relevant units of NVQ level 2 for Pharmacy Assistants, or the ability and willingness to attain these units after a period of in house training.
