An exciting opportunity has become available to work within the Respiratory Therapy team at Basildon Hospital.

If you have experience working with patients in a healthcare setting this may be the job for you!

Working alongside the Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists you will be responsible for progressing patients mobility as well as undertaking exercises programmes and occupational therapy specific treatment programmes.

Main duties of the job

The role involves working across the acute in patient wards at Basildon Hospital and within the Critical Care unit.

Working alongside therapy staff you will liaise with the multi-disciplinary team attending board rounds and independently undertake the therapy treatment of appropriate patients as decided by the therapists on the wards.

  • Good level of general education i.e. GCSE's or equivalent

Experience

  • Supporting information shows knowledge of equipment used by physiotherapists and occupational therapists
