Job overview
Join Our Team as a Medical Audio Typist!
Are you a fast and accurate typist with exceptional keyboard skills? This is your chance to turn your talent into a rewarding career!
We’re looking for someone who can confidently handle high volumes of typing—whether through a formal qualification in audio or copy typing, or proven experience producing detailed notes and documents.
As part of our friendly and supportive team, you’ll receive full training to transcribe clinical dictation across a wide range of medical specialties.
This role offers a unique opportunity to build an in-depth understanding of medical terminology while contributing to patient care behind the scenes.
If you thrive on precision, enjoy learning, and want a role that combines skill with purpose, we’d love to hear from you!
Main duties of the job
Audio typing skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are essential.
An understanding of medical terminology is desirable and advantageous although not essential as training will be provided together with training on the Digital Dictation system.
If you are enthusiastic, have good IT and communication skills and enjoy working in a team then we would like to hear from you. In return we can offer you a supportive, fast moving and varied job, in an often-busy environment.
Working for our organisation
Our ambition is to deliver excellent local and specialist services, to improve the health and well being of our patients, and provide a vibrant place for staff to develop, innovate and build careers.
