We are looking for a Senior Audiologist to join our friendly and welcoming team.  You will support the tinnitus direct access clinic, building on your adult diagnostic and rehabilitation skills. 

You will be supported in the role by experienced tinnitus practitioners in a friendly, encouraging environment. You will have an interesting and varied clinical workload alongside the tinnitus role.

Main duties of the job

You will help provide specialist diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology to specific patient groups. 

You will help train, teach and supervise junior staff within the discipline.

Additionally, this specialist role focuses on supporting the direct access tinnitus services.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • BSc in Audiology or equivalent (Dip Audiology with relevant BSc or BAA parts 1 &2 with H’Tec/B’Tec MPPM)
  • State registration
Desirable criteria
  • Membership of Professional groups such as BAA & BSA

Knowledge & Experience

Essential criteria
  • Full competency, including theoretical and practical training in full range of hearing aid techniques and clinical diagnostic test procedures (adults and young children including pre-school age) will have been gained.
Desirable criteria
  • Shown interest in managing tinnitus cases
  • Experienced in training, teaching and supervise junior staff within the discipline
  • NHS experience
