Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute hospital provider in the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System (ICS), which is a system of health and care partners working together for our local population.
Within Mid and South Essex there are 149 GP practices, operating from over 200 sites, forming 27 Primary Care Networks and one Ambulance Trust. There are also three main community and mental health service providers who work together through a community collaborative.

Job overview
The Psychological Therapies Service is a dynamic, hospital-based service delivering high-quality psychological support to both inpatients and outpatients across a wide range of medical specialties. We work at the intersection of physical and psychological health, supporting patients at some of the most complex and meaningful points in their care.
Our team is vibrant, supportive and proudly multidisciplinary, bringing together psychotherapists, counsellors, clinical psychologists, arts psychotherapists and dedicated administrators. Main duties of the job
To provide an inpatient service to adult patients in Broomfield general hospital, (excluding burns).
To provide an outpatient service to patients from the following areas, Oncology and palliative care, MS, renal, stroke & plastics.
To provide consultation on psychological issues to the wider multidisciplinary team.
To provide training to staff on relevant psychological and mental health issues with support.
To help provide a coherent approach Broomfield staff support.
