Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute hospital provider in the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System (ICS), which is a system of health and care partners working together for our local population.
Within Mid and South Essex there are 149 GP practices, operating from over 200 sites, forming 27 Primary Care Networks and one Ambulance Trust. There are also three main community and mental health service providers who work together through a community collaborative.
We collaborate with other valuable partners, including three Healthwatch organisations, nine voluntary and community sector organisations and three top tier local authorities, with seven district, borough and city councils, as well as our local universities.

Are you a passionate administrator who wants to make a difference to our patients?
We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic individual who will provide the organisation with their Patient Experience and Engagement infrastructure across Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. You will be supporting the team to be organised, completing tasks in a timely way and supporting the Directorate / Divisional teams in order to meet external deadlines, including a number of submissions outside the organisation.
The role will be based at either Broomfield or Southend and will be supporting the patient experience across all the sites.

Main duties of the job
- You will be assisting the Team in all aspects of day to day management of a cross site
- You will be providing administrative support to various projects and work streams
- Provide a central point of contact for the Trust in terms of coordination of Patient Experience and Engagement.
- Implementing new efficient processes and training colleagues at all levels and in all roles, to feel fully informed and able to contribute, for example action logs for meeting working groups
- Responsible for the ordering and procurement of the Team
- You will help to build and maintain excellent working relationships with Governors, key stakeholders, service user groups and local community.
- You will help collate monthly reports for the team and distribute them accordingly
- Inbox and Diary Management to the Associate Director of Patient Experience and Team
- Updating and arranging statutory and mandatory training records for the team
- Ability to work independently and send out diary invites for various meeting across site
- Provide the support to a number of meetings including taking minutes, circulating papers and managing an action log.
- To contribute to the smooth running of administrative systems including management of generic e-mail accounts.

- Education and Qualifications Educated to A level, NVQ level 3 in Business and Administration or equivalent experience

- Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrable understanding of confidential management
- Experience of taking minutes at formal meetings.
- Experience in planning and prioritising tasks effectively.
- Demonstrable experience of working in an administrative role in a busy office environment
- Communicating with members of the public
- Demonstrable experience of working within customer- driven service and working to strict time scales
- Working in NHS or other similar health care environment
