Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute hospital provider in the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System (ICS), which is a system of health and care partners working together for our local population.
Within Mid and South Essex there are 149 GP practices, operating from over 200 sites, forming 27 Primary Care Networks and one Ambulance Trust. There are also three main community and mental health service providers who work together through a community collaborative.
We collaborate with other valuable partners, including three Healthwatch organisations, nine voluntary and community sector organisations and three top tier local authorities, with seven district, borough and city councils, as well as our local universities.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Safeguarding Administrator to join our team at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust
Working as our Safeguarding Administrator provides essential administrative support to the healthcare organisation’s safeguarding arrangements, ensuring robust systems are in place to protect children, young people, and adults at risk.
You will support clinical and non-clinical staff in the safeguarding team, Working closely with the Safeguarding Lead, and external agencies.
Ensure safeguarding concerns are managed efficiently, confidentially, and in a timely manner, contributing to safe. No VISA sponsorship available for this role

To support and strengthen effective safeguarding practice across healthcare services, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of patients.
Maintain accurate, secure and compliant safeguarding records in line with regulatory and organisational requirements.
Facilitate timely reporting, monitoring and assurance of safeguarding activity, supporting robust governance and continuous improvement.
