Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) is at the heart of all we do; and it forms part of the ESNEFT’s core activities. The Trust operates and relies on everyone treating each other with dignity and respect, to receive equitable and fair treatment in the implementation of Policies, Procedures and in its Practices, to foster positive work relationships, and finally to act with integrity as a professional within ESNEFT as well as a representative of the NHS as a whole.  The EDI Agenda reflects the Trust values such as Optimistic, Appreciative and Kind. In line with the NHS Long Term Plan, People Plan, People Promise and a Model Employer intrinsic in the Equality Diversity and Inclusion Agenda, we consistently strive to improve, to take the learning into Action for a better ESNEFT.

If you are passionate about patient care and want to develop your skills and knowledge then we are keen to hear from you.

You will take a lead role in the education and training of all non-medical staff within the Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC), while also supporting the development of GP trainees.

You will ensure that all staff are clinically competent and confident in meeting the evolving demands of the service.

A core responsibility will be to design, coordinate, implement, and oversee a robust educational framework. This will include clinical supervision, teaching, and structured support for staff transitioning from training into qualified practice and beyond, fostering a culture of continuous professional development.

You will bring extensive clinical expertise in the management of both minor injuries and illnesses, including advanced skills such as fracture manipulation.

In addition to their educational responsibilities, you will continue to practice as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, working with a high level of autonomy and complex decision-making. You will demonstrate excellence across the four pillars of advanced practice: Clinical Practice, Leadership and Management, Education, and Research. Your work will contribute to innovative, patient-centred care and improved outcomes within their area of specialty.
