Job overview
We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to work with the Pharmacy and Medicines team to support the facilitation, development, delivery and implementation of the Clinical Governance framework for Pharmacy and Medicines across the Provide Group
The candidate will support the implementation of the Pharmacy and Medicines workplan, supporting the Governance Lead to collate evidence and audit compliance across Pharmacy and Medicines on Clinical governance, assurance, risk management, medicines security, medicines safety and clinical audit
Main duties of the job
- The pharmacy technician will work as an integral member of the pharmacy team, supporting accurate medicines reconciliation for patients on the community inpatient wards

Support the implementation of the pharmacy and medicines clinical audit programme, support medicines safety issues identified via assurance visits or other methods e.g Datix analysis, ensuring compliance against all standards, supporting evidence gathering and actions required to mitigate risk where appropriate.

Support the Head of Pharmacy and Medicines to gather and collate evidence to provide assurance on regulatory requirements including CQC, Quality Accounts, Pharmacy and Medicines Assurance frameworks, Security and Audit

Support the delivery of quality improvement methodologies relating to pharmacy and medicines across services where this is considered to be beneficial to optimal service delivery

Deputise for the Governance Lead Pharmacy and Medicines as and when required
