Are you highly motivated and passionate about patient care? Do you believe in keeping service users and carers at the heart of everything you do? Would you like to work in a dynamic and innovative team?

We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and compassionate Senior Technician (Therapy Assistant/Associate Practitioner), experienced in working with service users who have acquired brain injury, progressive neurological conditions, dementia and those who are ageing and frail to join the team at the Health, Wellbeing and Care Hub, based at the University of Essex, Colchester.

We are a strong, friendly multidisciplinary team, where productive ideas are welcomed and explored.

Main duties of the role

You will also oversee the use and maintenance of the specialist equipment and technology within the HWCH, source and develop resources, and provide specialist expertise on the practical arrangements of events and exhibitions as required.

A full list of duties and responsibilities can be found within the jobpack.
