Job overview
To participate in symptomatic and assessment clinics at the static unit and in screening mammography at both the static and mobile units.
Main duties of the job
To undertake screening/other mammography in line with national and local protocols at either the static unit or mobile unit as arranged.
Assist in interventional procedures - core biopsies, localisations etc - as required, including preparation of procedure trolley and support of patient undergoing procedure.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- BSc Radiography and Post -graduate UK certificate in mammography
- Current HCPC registration
- Evidence
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience as a radiographer within a general x-ray department
- Experience in breast screening/symptomatic services
Desirable criteria
- Experience in breast screening on mobile or static unit
- Experience of QA procedure and processes
Skills and knowledge
Essential criteria
- Understanding of IR (ME) R and other legislation relevant to the post
- Must be able to demonstrate team working skills
- Computer literate
