The post holder will be have experience in the field of NHS Continuing Healthcare having practiced extensively as a nurse assessor with significant experience of the CHC National Framework, CHC pathways and processes.
The role will require high level communication skills and the ability to work supportively and effectively with patients, families, appellants and claimants in frequently challenging and contentious circumstances.
The CHC Specialist Nurse will work under the guidance and support of the Head of Continuing Health care and the CHC Professional Lead to implement the National Framework for NHS Continuing Healthcare and NHS funded Nursing Care for residents in West Essex. He/she will promote best practice and provide professional advice to others promoting good relationships and liaising with colleagues from other disciplines both internally and externally to the CCG.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
