Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of a Band 5 Mental Health Practitioner in our West Essex Crisis 24 Teams based at the Derwent Centre in Harlow. This is the NHS 111 option 2 mental health support service.
The successful candidate will be part of the West Essex Urgent Care Pathway and work closely with other colleagues within the Urgent Care Pathway and across the wider services.
Main duties of the job
You will be part of a dynamic team of clinicians across the crisis pathway and also be involved in service improvement and setting quality standards in order to achieve positive patient outcomes. Applicants should be a keen and motivated professional who enjoys working in a fast paced environment with a “can do” attitude and have the ability to network with system partners across the piece. This is a whole time equivalent post working a 37.5 hour week.

- Post graduate qualification or commitment to work towards this Non-medical prescribing qualification
Experience
Essential criteria
- Proven experience of working in a health, social care or community setting as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Desirable criteria
- Demonstrate the ability to lead, facilitate and support group work i.e. anger management, psycho education and hearing voices
