You will work across both Ipswich Hospital site and the University of Suffolk. This post is band 8a (subject to banding confirmation).

This unique role combines advanced clinical pharmacy practice with teaching, supervision and curriculum delivery. You will bring real-world experience into the classroom, support pharmacy students across academic and practice-based learning, and contribute to the development of confident, patient-focused graduates equipped for modern pharmacy practice.

  • Provide an advanced clinical pharmacy service at ward level in accordance with pharmacy KPIs and agreed clinical standards.
  • Lead on the mentoring, coaching and professional development of junior pharmacists and student pharmacists undertaking Foundation Training and Clinical Diploma programmes.
  • Serve as an operational link between ESNEFT and the University of Suffolk, including coordination and provision of undergraduate pharmacy student placements.
