Our team of Physiotherapist's, Occupational Therapist’s, Therapy Assistant Practitioner's and Therapy Assistant's offer assessment and rehabilitation to patient’s predominantly within their own homes. We work with patients to identify rehabilitation goals to improve independence and safety with mobility, function and everyday activities. The community is where rehabilitation happens and this opportunity will allow you to really make a difference.
We have a strong ethos of multi-disciplinary working and work closely with colleagues in the wider team to provide a patient-centred, holistic approach.
Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd
To assist the Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists to provide an effective Community Rehabilitation service to adults living in the Mid Essex area.
To carry out routine assessment and treatment for non complex adults referred into the Community Therapy Service.
The role will mainly involve working with adults in their own homes across the Braintree, Halstead, Maldon and Chelmsford localities.

To assess, plan and implement rehabilitation programmes to a delegated patient caseload.
To deliver rehabilitation programmes in the most appropriate setting including the patient's own home, care home or clinic setting.

- Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle for business use
Experience

- Substantial clinical experience working as a band 3 Therapy Assistant
- Understanding of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy roles
- Knowledge of fitting,demonstrating and teaching safe use of a range of patient equipment
Skills

- Able to communicate to a high standard of English verbally and in writing
- Good IT skills including Microsoft and Outlook packages
