Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute hospital provider in the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System (ICS), which is a system of health and care partners working together for our local population.

Within Mid and South Essex there are 149 GP practices, operating from over 200 sites, forming 27 Primary Care Networks and one Ambulance Trust. There are also three main community and mental health service providers who work together through a community collaborative.

We collaborate with other valuable partners, including three Healthwatch organisations, nine voluntary and community sector organisations and three top tier local authorities, with seven district, borough and city councils, as well as our local universities.

 

Job overview

The Programme

EPUT and MSEFT are embarking on the implementation of a UK first of type Unified Electronic Patient Record (UEPR) system that spans Acute, Mental Health and Community services. The new system will be delivered through the Nova Programme, alongside our commercial partners for this significant transformative journey.

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Nova programme in the role of Subject Matter Expert Assistant (SME) and to be part of our mission and successful delivery of the programme.  

Main duties of the job

JOB SUMMARY

·       To provide an effective and professional service when liaising with stakeholders using tact and diplomacy to encourage effective working when dealing with any communication difficulties.

·       To provide first line support to all the Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust service users

·       To troubleshoot all queries that are received into the department through all forms of media and communications.

·       To cover the department, call centre during open hours.

·       To control the department workflow that comes through all of our monitored mailboxes.

·       To organize and control the department request tracker and process to enforce KPIs.

·       To provide information and advice in a timely manner.

  • English GCSE (or equivalent) grade C and above (or equivalent)

Knowledge

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Broad, general experience across a range of specialities/areas of work.
