Job overview

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Urology Administrator to join our dynamic team within our team here at Mid and south Essex Foundation Trust

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle high-demand situations while ensuring smooth operations within Urology Ambulatory Division.

In this role you will be responsible for the co-ordination of all clinics and meeting the capacity demands of the Urology Ambulatory Division.

And will support the Cancer Division with Various Duties.

Main duties of the job

You will have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, with patients, the wider team and be able to escalate when any concerns arise.

Having excellent telephone skills, you will be speaking directly to the patients, coordinating their appointments and any queries or rescheduling that may be required.

Cover specific duties in relation to the co-ordination of the Ambulatory Clinics.

Escalate any issues with relation to clinic shortfalls and demand. Monitoring this and ensuring clinic provision is meeting the demands.

Possessing a high standard of work, you will have a careful eye for detail in this role you will be responsible for the administration of all related paperwork and correspondence. You will maintain patient records in accordance with the national information governance requirements.

You will be responsible for the upkeep of all records and patient details for this service, ensuring all relevant documentation, imaging and histology has been received and is scanned onto CED.

Booking specific Urology Outpatient appointments including booking all clinics, overseeing the correct pathways are being followed, booking patients in a timely fashion and escalating any delays in appointments to the Senior Nurse.
