Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute hospital provider in the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System (ICS), which is a system of health and care partners working together for our local population.

Within Mid and South Essex there are 149 GP practices, operating from over 200 sites, forming 27 Primary Care Networks and one Ambulance Trust. There are also three main community and mental health service providers who work together through a community collaborative.

We collaborate with other valuable partners, including three Healthwatch organisations, nine voluntary and community sector organisations and three top tier local authorities, with seven district, borough and city councils, as well as our local universities.

 

Job overview

We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills who is dedicated to working as part of our friendly team.

You will need to ensure that all stocks are managed appropriately and cost effectively, meeting the needs of user departments and that all products are replenished in accordance with agreed processes, policies and procedures.

Ensure goods received in Receipts and Dispatch are distributed to user departments.

Main duties of the job

What you’ll do:

Work collaboratively to maintain an efficient replenishment process and ensure cost-effective stock management.

Take ownership by using your initiative and working independently with minimal supervision.

Champion improvement by actively participating in continuous improvement activities to enhance the service we deliver across the group.

Support leadership by assisting the Head of Supply Chain and Site Logistics Lead in delivering scheduled work on time and to a high standard.
