NHS AfC: Band 4

Here at West Essex CCG we’re passionate about people. Working with our partners to help the people of Epping Forest, Harlow and Uttlesford have access to, and get, the very best possible health care and support when they need it is at the heart of everything we do.

It’s an exciting time for us and we’re looking for people who enjoy working in a fast-paced, vibrant environment that can help us achieve our aim.

So if you share our passion for people and want to make a positive change to their health and health services then we want to hear from you.

We can offer you a good working environment with free car parking along with a generous holiday entitlement, NHS pension scheme and excellent training and development.

An opportunity has arisen for a fixed term Band 4 Cancer Screening Administrator post within  Primary Care to work with a group of GP practices to target patients eligible for breast, bowel and cervical screening but who have not yet taken up screening.  Experience of working in primary care is desirable.

The role will include:

  • Liaising with the GP practices to agree most appropriate way to contact patients.
  • Phone calls to patients to promote screening.
  • Booking of screening appointments with the relevant services.
  • Running SystmOne searches periodically as agreed with the practices to review and monitor the uptake of screening programmes.

Post holder will need to be able to travel between sites.
