Job overview

Are you passionate about working with children and their families?

We have an exciting part time permanent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated dietitian to join our small but friendly and experienced paediatric team. This role gives you a chance to work in a variety of specialties within paediatrics, including general paeds, home enteral feeding and diabetes, alongside Band 6 and Band 7 colleagues. You will work within established multidisciplinary teams providing expert nutritional advice to professionals, patients and carers. It will be based at Southend Hospital and will cover both inpatients and outpatients. There will also be an opportunity to train and work across other hospital sites within the wider MSEFT paediatric dietetic team.

This role would be ideal for someone with established paediatric clinical experience who will be considered for a Band 6 role. We also encourage applications from individuals with less experience but have a firm interest in working with children and their families. You will join us at Band 5, progressing to Band 6 after successfully meeting paediatric competencies and obtaining relevant clinical experience.

You will join a friendly and enthusiastic paediatric dietetic team. We are looking for someone who is motivated with good communication and team working skills who is excellent, compassionate and respectful.
