The Urology Clinical Support Team is extremely busy and we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who is committed, demonstrate loyalty and are prepared to work hard when necessary to get things done.

This exciting opportunity is full-time 37.5 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
- The post holder is responsible for working within the Urology team providing professional, efficient and confidential secretarial support
- Communicate effectively with team members and colleagues
- Maintain and develop high standards of administration and record keeping
- Take on responsibility for personal development and support the development of the Service
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner and be a role model at all times
- Provide day to day administrative support when required for the department on request

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Educated to GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in literacy and numeracy
- Level III / Speed Typing qualification or demonstrable experience (min 60 wpm)
- NVQ in Administration level 3 computer literate in Microsoft Office packages
Experience
Essential criteria
- Appropriate experience in a hospital or office environment
- Previous experience of dealing with members of the public
- Good command and understanding of English, punctuation and grammar
- Experience of using own initiative, prioritising workload and utilising organisational skills
Desirable criteria
- Working experience of TRAK/EPR/PACS/Infoflex
Knowledge/ Skills

- Ability to deal with complex situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
