Job overview

An exciting opportunity to join our Medical Advisor team for Gloucestershire Adoption and Fostering has arisen. As part of this particular role oversight of the team is expected, attracting a higher consultant rate.

The post holder will be expected to become the Named Doctor for Children in Care.

The successful candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team, with note that this is a specialist post and the post holder is likely to unique within their provider service.

Main duties of the job

There are several aspects to this role which makes it a varied and enjoyable role, training may be considered if the essential criteria is met.

A higher professional training in paediatrics is expected.

Please note that depending on experience the Salary offer will either be on the consultant scale as per the advert or alternatively as a set rate for the role of £125,000 per annum pro rata.

To that end, we continue to prioritise and invest in our commitment to genuinely becoming a Great Place to Work with consistent top-quartile performance in the annual staff survey and Pulse surveys.
