Job overview

Gloucestershire Hospitals provide acute hospital services in Gloucester and Cheltenham, and maternity services in Stroud. With over 9000 employees we are one of the largest NHS Trusts in the South West. We are a data rich organisation, with a wealth of workforce data from ESR, recruitment, rostering and finance.

We are looking for a talented Analyst to join the Workforce Planning & Information team. The role will report to the Principal Data Analyst in Workforce Information, and work closely alongside the Workforce Planning, Training & Appraisal and ESR Self Service team.

As an Analyst within Workforce Information, you will be part of a crucial function within the organisation: bringing together expertise in workforce data, data transformation and analysis, and  data visualisation and reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to use data to create the evidence and analysis that underpins a breadth of high impact initiatives across the trust.

The role will follow a typical 9:00-17:00 pattern, Monday to Friday. This is a hybrid role and you should expect to be onsite each week for up to three days. We have an office together at Gloucestershire Hospital, a short walk from the train station. As you are starting in the role you should anticipate more time on site during your induction.

Interview Date:  24th September 2025
