Band 2 Domestic Assistant
We currently have opportunities in our Domestic Services Department at Gwynedd Hospital for enthusiastic, motivated individuals. The Domestic Services team have responsibility for ensuring that standards of environmental cleanliness are maintained and we are seeking additional Domestic Assistants to carry out these duties within our hospital. Previous experience of working within the cleaning industry will be beneficial but it is not essential as the successful candidates will receive on the job training and supervision. Uniform/protective clothing will also be provided
The Health Board offers excellent working conditions including enhanced level of Annual Leave, enhanced pay for weekend working and an opportunity to join the Superannuation Pension Scheme
We are offering permanent contracts of employment and have a number of following posts available:
- Full time - 37.5 - 7.30 - 15.30 / 12.00- 20.00 , working 5 days per week, mixture of shifts , including weekends on a rota basis
- Full time - 37.5 hours per week 12.00-20.00, 5 days per week including weekends on a rota basis
- Part time posts - 25 hours per week - 10.00 - 15.00 hrs, 5 days per week including weekends on a rota basis
- Part time 22.5 hrs per week , 3 days per week , a mixture of 7.30-3.30 / 12.00 - 20.00 including weekends on a rota basis
Rates of pay are £9.50 per hour, with enhanced rates for work undertaken on a Saturday, Evenings (£13.49 per hour) And Sunday (£17.38 per hour)
