Working as part of our nursing team to help deliver outstanding care to all of our patients you will supporting us to manage ward flow effectively by managing your own cohort of patients under the supervision of a registered nurse within the ED

Main duties of the job
The Role of the Nurse Associate Practitioner is to (assist and) support the qualified health professionals in ensuring optimal care for the patients and the success of the trust. The delivery of high quality, effective and compassionate health care to the patients of the Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust is the most important objective for the organisation.

Training and Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register
Desirable criteria
- Assessed as Competent to administer medications
- Extended clinical skills e.g Venesection and cannulation
Experience and Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Experience of working under appropriate clinical supervision as part of a Multidisciplinary team
Skills and Abilities
Essential criteria
- Can demonstrate ability to work within a team, delegate and escalate in line with role and scope of practice
- Demonstrates ability to organise and prioritise own delegates workload
- demonstrates ability to deal with non routine and unpredictable nature of workload
- Deomstrates ability to take part in reflective practice and clinical supervision activities
