Main duties of the job

An opportunity has arisen to join a busy, friendly team within the Linen & Post Services Department for 7 hours a week. 

You will be responsible for helping to provide a full internal delivery of linen over both Saturday and Sunday morning's from 7am to 11am.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

This role will  consist of topping up and delivery of linen and scrub items to the ward linen cupboards and non ward areas around the trust.

Entering daily linen requirement accurately onto a stock control system using an android tablet device.

Ensuring stock is regularly rotated and reviewed and remain appropriate in terms of stock level for each area.

Qualifications, knowledge and experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience in working to deadlines and meeting targets
  • Experience in working as part of a team and building rapport with others
Desirable criteria
  • Experience working in a customer facing environment
  • Experience in linen or post services roles
  • Experience of using moving and handling equipment such as roll cages, pallet trucks and flat bed trollies
