Location: 1 WTE in Basingstoke and 1 WTE in Winchester
We are looking for a motivated band 6 nurse to join our established Airways respiratory specialist team.
Do you have respiratory experience? If yes, then this is an ideal opportunity for someone who is seeking to broaden their range of skills and knowledge in specialist respiratory care focusing on Interstitial Lung disease (ILD), Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma.
You will be acting as an autonomous practitioner with the support of the Airways/ILD Lead. As an Airways/ILD specialist you will support both in patients and outpatients through their patient journey offering information, education, and psychological support. You will play a key role in promoting tobacco dependency services across the trust alongside our dedicated tobacco dependency advisors.
Main duties of the job
You will be their main point of contact, signposting to other services and liaising with other HCP’s as necessary. You will need to display excellent communication skills and offer care in a kind and compassionate manner. This post will offer you the support of a patient focused friendly team who will encourage and support you to develop your knowledge and skills in this role.
