Job overview
We are excited to be near completion of an equipment replacement programme in X-ray which has revolutionised our service, and are looking for someone to help to spearhead these changes and support our day to day co-ordinators. We are looking for an experienced X-ray radiographer with enthusiasm who we will support with clinical and leadership development through training and education. This role will be essential in ensuring the team feel valued and supported to deliver the best patient care.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a special radiographer with appropriate experience who is committed to providing outstanding patient care with high quality imaging. You will undertake general, trauma, and fluoroscopic X-ray examinations. You will take on a supervisory role during core hours covering RPS, QA, Health and Safety and infection control.

Training and Qualifications
Essential criteria
- BSc or equivalent in Radiography
Desirable criteria
- Post graduate training in clinical specialist area and/or Leadership
Experience and Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Detailed understanding of radiation protection, associated regulations and application in practice
Desirable criteria
- NHS Experience as a radiographer
Training & Qualifications
Essential criteria
- HCPC Registration
Desirable criteria
- RPS Training
Skills and ability
Essential criteria
- Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to safely use a wide range of moving and handling equipment and ability to undertake all aspects of X-ray imaging
Desirable criteria
- Experience with rota management
