Previous Applicants Need Not Apply

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and driven Band 5 Physiotherapist to join our rotation at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

HHFT is a trust with sites in Winchester, Basingstoke, Alton and Andover. You will rotate every 4 months so you can develop your clinical skills and reasoning in a range of areas: settings include ITU, surgery, ED, medical, cardiology, elderly care, MSK out-patients, orthopaedics including trauma and elective, stroke, rehabilitation and paediatrics.

There is no better way to start or develop your career. You will be supported by experienced clinicians who will teach you the skills you need to deliver excellent patient care and progress your career.

If you have excellent communication skills, are eager to learn and are passionate about providing outstanding patient care, we would love to hear from you

For further information or to arrange an informal visit please contact Colette Ridgeway or Kim Dalzell.

Please note that this role may close earlier than the advertised date if a high volume of applications is received.

Main duties of the job

Assess and treat a variety of conditions across all core rotations whilst working as part of a wider therapy team to promote and develop evidence-based care.

You will be expected to be part of the on-call training rota and partake in 7-day working as required.

Working for our organisation

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT) provides hospital services to around 570,000 people living in Hampshire and parts of West Berkshire, and specialist services to patients from all over the country.

We deliver a full range of district hospital services in a variety of locations.

As a Rotational Band 5 within the Therapy Team you can expect to receive regular supervision, a comprehensive on call training package, including a simulation training programme. You will be part of service improvement projects and work alongside experienced colleagues of all levels. We encourage you to be an active part of and receive the support of the Band 5 peer group and Band 5 mentor, as well as assisting in the support and guidance of Therapy Assistants.

You will also be enrolled on a multidisciplinary Preceptorship programme for all newly qualified band 5s.

There will be a requirement to work across site when needed, so a flexible approach is necessary.
