Multiple positions available across the Pharmacy's Dispensary and Ward-Based Services within Wye Valley Trust.

Main duties of the job
To provide support to Pharmacy services across the Dispensary and Ward-Based Services, under the supervision of registered pharmacy professionals. The post holder will assist in the preparation, dispensing, distribution, and stock control of medicines, ensuring safe and timely supply to patients and departments.
The role includes routine and non-routine tasks, requiring the use of standard procedures and judgement in prioritising workload.
The post holder will also support the supervision and training of Band 2 ATO staff and contribute to service improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- 4 GCSE’s at grace C or above in Maths, English and two other subjects
Desirable criteria
- Level 2 in Pharmacy Services
- Completion of in-house training programme demonstrating competency for Band 3 duties
Skills
Essential criteria
- Good IT skills
- Able to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, carers and healthcare staff both verbally and in writing
- Able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
Experience
Desirable criteria
- Experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting
- Experience working in a hospital pharmacy environment
- Experience dealing with patients, healthcare professionals and the public
Applicant requirements
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
