We’re looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented People Coordinator to join our fast-paced Shared Services team. In this pivotal role, you’ll play a key part in delivering efficient, high-quality operational HR support, with a strong focus on exceptional customer service.

Main duties of the job

Support the Employee Lifecycle: Assist People Business Partners with processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee relations, and general HR administration.

Manage Onboarding & Compliance: Coordinate onboarding tasks such as drafting contracts, conducting compliance checks, and maintaining regular communication with new hires and relevant teams.

Liaise with Stakeholders: Build strong relationships with hiring managers, external compliance providers, and internal teams to ensure seamless HR operations.

Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to improve HR processes and enhance service delivery.

Maintain and Develop HR Systems: Ensure HR systems are regularly updated, accurate, and continuously improved to support operational needs.

Essential criteria
  • English and Maths to GCSE level
  • Excellent Customer Services Skills
  • Strong IT proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
  • Previous experience of working within a fast-paced HR function
  • Experience of working with HR Systems
  • Confident in making own decisions
Desirable criteria
  • CIPD qualification or working towards is desirable
  • Knowledge of the essentials of employment law and HR best practice
