Main duties of the job

The post holder will:

Be an essential part of maintaining security at the service, including making sure all persons entering the service are approved to do so, checking ID and ensuring restricted items do not enter the service.

Liaising with the wards and coordinating vehicle bookings, visits and leaves.

Carry out reception duties for the Learning Disability Forensic Service.  Greet and assist visitors appropriately, dealing with general enquiries.

Essential criteria
  • Basic IT skills, good literacy and numeracy
Desirable criteria
  • RSA 2 Typing or equivalent
  • NVQ2 in Business Administration or the willingness to work towards the award

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of working in a person facing role
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of working in a secure setting
  • Previous general office/clerical experience
  • Experience with a Health Service setting
